One of our favourite paintings from Alagirisamys'
portfolio, 'Afloat' was featured as part of the group
exhibition 'As Yet Untitled' at Blackfriars Arts Centre
in Boston and then as part of the 'INTRO:2' group
exhibition of new and emerging British Artists at
Needhams Restaurant in Ely, Cambridgeshire in 2006. This
piece is a perfect example of her vibrant, exotic style.
Alagirisamy actually painted & presents this piece in
landscape format but we find it has dramatically
increased impact in this portrait format.
